Classroom Chaos!

I just was looking through the blog and realized I never posted pictures from the field trip on April 22. I do not have many pictures, but I have a few. 

I also have some picture of some random classroom chaos! :)

Do not forget, this Friday is the vocabulary parade! We will be parading around the back lot around 2:20. The students are excited about this!

Reading a play on the Tortoise and the Hare!

Working on their homemade game in writing class. They had to think functionally and write directions that were clear enough for another team to play their game! 

Reading our Storyworks Magazine, about "Saving the Great White Monster." They worked in small groups to read and then respond to questions about the text.

PA DAY!

We had such a wonderful time Friday for PA Day! The students did a very nice job going form presenter to presenter listening to the presentations and asking great questions! 

We had 5 presenters here on Friday! There was a civil war general, a french voyager, a local farmer, a coal miner, and Joseph Priestly.

The students rotated through the five presenters in the morning, had regular lunch and recess, and then rotated through stations in the afternoon. The five stations were; an PA craft, colonial games in the gym, PA Jeopardy, the museum to look at artifacts, and learning how to line dance. 

The students really enjoyed the day of events! Check out some pictures that I took of the day!
