It's been far too long!

We have a busy schedule coming up next week!

Tuesday we are going to be heading to Harrisburg for our field trip! Please remember to pack a COMPLETELY disposable lunch for your child. We will be eating outside that day and we will be throwing our lunches away when we are finished, so we can walk through the capitol building. We will be departing Linntown at 8:50 a.m. and we will return around 3:00 p.m.

Wednesday the students have their artifact due for PA Day. We will be celebrating PA Day on Friday next week.

On Thursday next week we will be headed over to the art show to check out the student's work! We are very excited to see all the neat artwork!

Friday we will celebrate PA Day. This is an all day event. The students will be listening to presenters and then participating in some PA activities! We are very excited for our presenters this year! We have some great people coming in to show the students items from colonial PA!

It has been so long since I have posted pictures in the blog! Here are tons to check out!

In these pictures, the students are working on Titanic items! We started this unit a few weeks ago and the students LOVE it! They had so many questions about the Titanic! It has been such a great unit!

In these pictures, the students are working on their ecosystems! We broke the wall down and we worked with Mr. Kratzer and his entire class! It was great seeing everyone so excited about the critters we added and the plants they have in their ecosystem!

In these pictures, students are working on their Titanic Outlines in groups. They read about the Titanic, and then had to place the events of the sinking in order from earliest to latest.

Here the students are playing in the math stations we did at the end of one of our units. They used iPads, played multiplication war, completed open ended problems, and played a dice rolling game in which they had to add in their head! They loved rotating between the stations.

In these photos we were watching a performance on Benjamin Franklin, by the Bloomsburg Theater Ensemble! They did a wonderful job! The students truly enjoyed their performance!

Just loved this student's spring outfit for the day! She was so excited to pose for the picture!

Of course I had to throw a dog picture in here as well! I just think they are so darn cute! Bad, but cute! :)

In our main hall, Mrs. Pauling, our Librarian, took the staff's baby pictures and our six favorite books and created an activity in which students have to try to guess to see who is who in the baby pictures! They are very stumped trying to figure out which baby I am!!!!!

We love using out whiteboards!!!!

Finally, we watched an assembly yesterday called Poetry Alive! These two actors came and performed poetry for the students! They were very active and got many students involved! It was a great performance!
